Biodiversity

Biodiversity is an integral part of the forest ecosystem. Without it, the resilience of the entire forest is threatened. The species composition, the vertical forest structure, the quantity and type of dead wood, the large living trees, the micro-habitats supporting animal or plant life, as well as the presence of environments associated with the forest (open, humid or rocky environments in particular) are all elements that support significant biodiversity in the forest.

Forêt.Nature’s projects take into account all aspects of biodiversity by combining biological and forestry inventories. This helps them understand how to improve management practices and guarantee a high level of biological diversity within the forest.

In this context, inventories of specific flagship or indicator species are carried out. Forêt.Nature has also been providing office design services for several years as a result of their bat surveys carried out during projects.
