This Summer, a network of 18 partners, bringing together forest practitioners and trainers from across Europe, is launching a new LIFE Programme project, coordinated by our organisation.
Our aim is to strengthen foresters’ skills and expertise in biodiversity-friendly forest management (BFFM) and integrate these practices into their everyday work across the EU.
In the coming years, we will be:
- Delivering a series of hands-on trainings and demonstrations of good practices
- Building a Europe-wide trainers’ community of practice
- Helping BFFM practices become widespread, contributing to more resilient European forests
