Le pi\u00e9geage des fondatrices au printemps semble en effet \u00eatre une technique prometteuse dans la lutte contre cette esp\u00e8ce invasive d\u00e9sormais bien implant\u00e9e chez nous. Restait \u00e0 trouver le bon pi\u00e8ge. Le mod\u00e8le utilis\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 perfectionn\u00e9 par l\u2019\u00e9quipe du CRA-W en jouant sur le calibre des trous d\u2019entr\u00e9e et de sortie. 48 % des pi\u00e8ges ont permis de capturer plus de 815 fondatrices de frelon asiatique et 67 % des insectes captur\u00e9s \u00e9taient des fondatrices de frelon asiatique, ce qui est un taux tr\u00e8s satisfaisant. L\u2019app\u00e2t constitu\u00e9 de grenadine pourrait \u00eatre compl\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019un r\u00e9pulsif pour \u00e9loigner les abeilles qui avaient tendance \u00e0 piller les pi\u00e8ges les rendant rapidement moins attractifs.
