Dans ce cadre, une th\u00e8se de doctorat a identifi\u00e9 les diff\u00e9rentes r\u00e9actions aux \u00e9v\u00e8nements extr\u00eames (notamment les s\u00e9cheresses estivales) des peuplements m\u00e9lang\u00e9s de ch\u00eanes sessiles et de pins sylvestres. La zone d\u2019\u00e9tude est situ\u00e9e en for\u00eat d\u2019Orl\u00e9ans (France).<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-build-content\" data-testid=\"PZFQT9T3_T\">Les r\u00e9sultats de l\u2019\u00e9tude montrent que la croissance radiale des individus est affect\u00e9e diff\u00e9remment par la sylviculture selon les essences en pr\u00e9sence. Le ch\u00eane sessile poss\u00e8de une r\u00e9sistance au stress estival plus importante en m\u00e9lange que dans sa monoculture. \u00c0 l\u2019inverse, la r\u00e9sistance du pin est plus faible en m\u00e9lange que dans sa monoculture. La densit\u00e9 du peuplement ne modifie pas la r\u00e9sistance de ces deux essences.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-build-content\" data-testid=\"PZFQT9T3_T\">Au niveau des ressources en eau, les deux essences pr\u00e9l\u00e8vent majoritairement dans les horizons proches de la surface en monoculture. Alors qu\u2019il y a une compl\u00e9mentarit\u00e9 partielle entre les deux essences en peuplements m\u00e9lang\u00e9s, les ch\u00eanes descendent majoritairement dans les horizons plus profonds (30-45 cm) et les pins restent dans les horizons plus superficiels.
