Cette technique permet d&rsquo;observer l&rsquo;int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 des n\u0153uds et autres traces \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur des billons. Le scanner fournit des images de coupes virtuelles tous les 1, 25 mm (environ 800 coupes pour un billon d&rsquo;un m\u00e8tre). l&rsquo;article d\u00e9crit l&rsquo;interpr\u00e9tation des scans en vues 3D pour 15 essences diff\u00e9rentes en reconstituant tout le r\u00e9seau de n\u0153uds et de traces de bourgeons latents. Ce petit atlas constitue un premier r\u00e9f\u00e9rentiel permettant de mieux comprendre le d\u00e9veloppement architectural des essences, son implication sur les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s technologiques et sa prise en compte dans les sylvicultures sp\u00e9cifiques de chaque essence.
